Papertake Weekly Sketch #25

Here's my card for the sketch at Papertake Weekly.  Not my best card I have to admit.  I did kinda just throw it together in a hurry.  So I found the image in and amongst my coloured images and thought I would use it however I didn't really have any papers to use so just pulled out the K&Co pad again.  The image is coloured with promarkers again.  I really must get a few more, I don't have nearly enough!!

Supplies:

Sentiment - Stampin Up
Paper - Wild Raspberry by K&Co
Tool - Oval Punch from Stampin Up
Other - Flowers, Pearl and Brad from stash

1 Card, 4 Challenges!

Today's card I've managed to enter into FOUR challenges!! I always look at the challenge blogs and see if I can group a one together with a sketch.  I managed to group three with a sketch today.  I think that's the most challenges I've entered one card into, it would have been five if I had used different papers.  Serves me right for not concentrating.

So the four challenges I've entered are: Sketch Saturday, Anyone for Anya (funky flowers), Secret Crafter (one for the girls) and Cupcake Craft Challenges (pearls and swirls).

I'm still using up my Wild Raspberry papers (I hope you are not bored of look at the same papers!!). I still have loads left!  The image was coloured using promarkers and it was one I'd found in a little pile of images I'd stamped and coloured ages ago.

3 in 1!

Today's card I managed to fit into 3 challenges!  A sketch by Sunday Sketch & Stamp, colours pink, white and 1 more for Anyone for Anya and polka dots for My Time to Craft.

I used one of my fave Anya stamps, coloured with Promarkers. I used some old papers from Papermania.  Yes I'm still using up old stash however I did succumb to buying a couple of sheets of new paper on Saturday.  I couldn't help it!

Sketch Saturday DT Call

Here's my card for the Sketch Saturday DT call.  I've entered DT calls before and never been successful but I don't let it get me down, I will keep trying and one day hopefully I will be!  I love how this turned out in the end.

I've used a stamp that I've had for ages and never used, Flutter Anya by The Greeting Farm.  I've coloured it using promarkers and used some more of my fave papers from K&Co.

Just because

The elements for this card had been on my desk for ages so I thought it was about time that I put a card together. I love the colour combo black, white and pink. I wanted to use more pink but couldn't find the right papers. I used prismas to colour her in.

Sketch Saturday #56

My entry for Sketch Saturday. I love this card. I don't usually use a lot of yellow. But this looks great. Again used promarkers to colour in. I also used my new fave papers from K&Co. I got this stamp a few days ago. It's so easy to colour in. I think I may have to invest in a few more even though I should now be saving to pay for my holiday!

A Spoon Full of Sugar #56

Here is my entry of A Spoon Full of Sugar. A fantastic sketch by Michelle. I flipped it around, just because I felt like being different. I've actually been quite productive today making a total of four cards, this one included. I haven't made any cards for so long so this weekend has been really enjoyable, getting back into the swing of it. You'll be seeing the rest over the next few days.

I coloured Miss Anya in using promarkers. I bought a whole bunch more last week and have been practising with them. I actually quite like them now. They still bleed slightly. Practise makes perfect!

Paper - K&Co - Wild Raspberry
Tools - Nesties and Cuttlebug
Other Stash - Pearls, netting, flowers and brad all from stash

Also something quite exciting, yesterday I booked (well my friend booked) a holiday for us both. So on the 6th September 2010 I'm off to Orlando for two weeks of disney fun. I am so excited and have been wanting to go back since we went last year. We are also stopping at a disney hotel which is even more exciting! I just wish it was closer and not over a year away. At least I have something to look forward to! I just have to save up to pay for it now. I need a little counter somewhere on here to count down those days.

Friday Sketchers and Papertake Weekly

Hope everyone is okay. I've not had chance to visit many blogs and leave some comments recently, I'll try my best over the next few days.

Today was my day off and I was really happy when my Miss Anya stamps dropped through the letterbox as it meant I had some time to play!

The first card is for Friday Sketchers. A fab sketch which I will probably use again in the future. I used my watercolours to colour her in.

The second card is for Papertake Weekly which is another one of Dawny's fab sketches. Love the vibrant colours on this one. Again I watercoloured her.
