Charisma Cardz #46 and Stampavie & More #70

Today my my mojo was in full swing and I ended up making five cards!  That's the most I have made in a long while.  I'm pleased with every single one of them (which is unusual when I make so many in one go!) and you will get to see them all over the week.

The first card I made I'm entering into two challenges:

1.  Charisma Cardz - Sketch
2.  Stampavie & More - Brown plus 1 other colour

I used my one of my new Magnolias I got on Friday when we popped into Sir Stampalot.  Unfortunately they had sold many of the new Christmas Magnolias however I did manage to get a few.  I also used my new Martha Stewart punch and those lovely MME papers.  I really like this colour scheme, it's a bit different for Christmas.

I kept with Christmas but pulled out some MME papers from last year.  I also used another old Magnolia stamp coloured with promarkers.

Friday Sketchers #73

Here's my card using a lovely sketch for this week's challenge at Friday Sketchers.  Now ordinarily I would have changed it to fit a square card as that is the shape I mainly make, however I thought what the heck and did a DL!  I do like a change.  Again I used those Cosmo Cricket papers and an old Magnolia.  Coloured in using promarkers again.  I thought I would carry on doing Christmas whilst I had the papers out!  Please click on the image to make it bigger, I can't seem to change the size it's either too small or too big, grrr!

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #13

I'm so excited, this is my first card for my GDT slot on Sunday Sketch & Stamp.  I was so excited to be picked as I've never been on a DT before and I feel honoured to have been choosen.  Thanks to the team for welcoming me!

Without further a do, here is my card.  The sketch is a fabulous sketch by Clare.  I hope you all enjoy working with it as much as I did.  It's been a while since I made such a vibrant card.  I choose my new Magnolia stamp coloured her with promarkers and pulled out a very old pad of papers which I had never used (tut tut!!).  Please go and visit all the other DT members to see their fantastic cards.

Just Magnolia #23

Today's card is for Just Magnolia which is a fabulous sketch by the very talented Bev.  I loved this sketch.  I do like simple as there seems to be more room for movement!

Okay now this is where I've been a bit naughty as these are new papers!  I really like this card as the colours in the papers are not always what I would use together but they are great.  I will be using these papers up!!  I also was trying to get this finished up before last night's X Factor.  I was going to put a few more embellishments on it but just didn't get a chance before I need to clear away.

Bad blogger & Papertake Weekly Sketch #22

I know, I know, there are no excuses! To be honest over the past few weeks I've been using some of my stampin up stash. It was great to get back to it. It was what I needed, a break from Magnolias, Gorjuss girls and all the other stamps. I got to the point where I just sat and stared at an image and didn't know what to do anymore! Plus there are more and more challenge blogs and I felt I needed to make more and more cards to enter them all. Also I seem to spend more and more £'s as I want every stamp, bit of paper and embellishment that I see and I don't when using SU! I need to start buying things I really really need rather than wanting everything I see.

Anyway on Friday the new Magnolia fall kit popped through the letterbox. I was surprised as I had forgotten all about it. It got me excited about inking up again. I couldn't wait to get them mounted and inked. I love the chef Tilda and Edwins, perfect for when my cousin's son (and his girlfriend) finishes his chef's course at college or his birthday next year. I had a look at the challenges and settled up for the sketch on Papertake Weekly. Perfect, just some simple layers and a few embellishments.

Here's my card:

Friday Sketchers #60

You will all think I've done a runner from here soon! Okay I've had a couple of very good excuses. It was my mum's birthday on Sunday and it was mine and my dad's yesterday. See I said I had a good excuse!

Here's the card I made for my mum's birthday for my dad to give to her using the fab sketch from Friday Sketchers. As it was a special card for someone special I even concentrated on decorating the inside too which is something I wouldn't normally do. It took sometime to do but I love it. I used my new Magnolia summer kit stamps coloured using promarkers again.

Just Magnolia #11

Tomorrow I'm off to Wembley Stadium to see Take That. I am so excited you wouldn't believe! They have been my fave band since I was 11 years old and I'll soon be 29! I've heard, read and seen so much good stuff about the show so I'm really looking forward to it and hope it blows my expectations right out of the water! I'm not looking forward to the travelling down there though. I'm sure I'll be back on Saturday full of it!

This card is for the Just Magnolia challenge. It was a fantastic sketch by Bev. It was a dream to work with - so easy the card just "fell" together. I love the colours and the papers. Again I have used my promarkers. I love these, so much so I ordered a few more. I just realised this isn't the best photo. Sorry.

Paper - Bo Bunny
Tools - Butterfly punch, nesties and cuttlebug

Friday Sketchers #57

My entry for Friday Sketchers. A very lovely simple sketch. I like simple! Again image coloured using promarkers as I have a little stock pile now from when I have been practising. No mishaps and they all look pretty well coloured in so I might as well use them up! I love this little Tilda stamp.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - Stampin' Up
Paper - Bo Bunny
Tools - Punches from Stampin' Up
Other - Flowers, pearls and brads from stash

Here is the card I made my dad for Father's Day. It was done very quickly, sorry dad. I actually like it. Simple. I did decorate (very simply) the inside but didn't take a photo sorry. Image coloured using promarkers again. I think I need a few more colours to add to my collection such as the greys.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - Papermania
Paper - My Mind's Eye
Tools - Nesties and Cuttlebug

Friday Sketchers and Sketch Saturday

First this one is just for fun. No sketch and no challenge. Love the colours in this one and I love how it turned out. Used some fab ribbon which I got from the local garden centre! Matches very well I think. Used my prismas to colour this little gorjuss girl in.

Supplies:
Image - Gorjuss Girl by Sugar Nellie
Sentiment - Debbie Moore (I think)
Paper - Basic Grey
Tools - Nestabilities
Other - Ribbon, pearls, flowers and brads from stash

This card is for Friday Sketchers. Such a simple sketch - I like those!! The picture quality is a bit poor - sorry. Again I used my prismas to colour the image in. I glittered up those wings for a it of sparkle.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - unknown
Paper - My Minds Eye
Other - Flowers, pearl and brads from stash

This is made using the sketch at Sketch Saturday. I turned it round to fit the image I used. Again I used prismas to colour the image. Am really getting used to these now especially as I ordered some more! Also dug out the lovely MS punch that I bought back with me from Florida.

Supplies:
Image - Miss Anya - Greeting Farm
Papers - My Minds Eye
Tools - Martha Stewart Punch
Other - Flowers, ribbon, pearls and brads from stash
