1 Card, 5 Challenges

So today I sat down to do some stamping.  On a Saturday I always look through the challenges and see what's around.  There are just so many challenge blogs out there I see what can be combined.  So this card is for fivechallenges, I could have entered into at least eight!  But I thought I would save that for a few more cards.  So, the five challenges are:-

1.  Sketch & Stash Challenge - Sketch
2.  Papertake Weekly - Christmas Crackers
3.  Whiff of Joy - Christmas
4.  Cute Card Thursday - Boys card
5.  A Spoon Full of Sugar - Brown plus blue or pink

I used a stamp from the Whiff of Joy winter kit that I hadn't inked up together with those lovely MME papers again.

Supplies: Whiff of Joy Stamp, Daisy & Dandelion Sentiment Stamp; MME papers; Snowflake punches; gems; brown chalk ink, Stampin' Up! eyelet punch

3 in 1 Card

I managed to get 3 challenges out of this card!  I really like this one. I used another new WoJ stamp.  I just love the santa stamps.  I only just got a couple of them but I think I need a couple more!!  I used some new MME papers, yes I finally broke and bought some papers!!

Firstly I used the sketch from A Spoonful of Sugar. Another great sketch.  The second is for Cupcake Craft Challenges which was buttons and stitching.  So I only used one button so I hope this is okay but I did go overboard with the faux stictching!  The last one is for Crafty Angels which was buttons and bling.  Again I hope it was okay that there is only one button but I used a lot of bling in the middle of the snowflakes.

Supplies

Sentiment - Daisy & Dandelion

A Spoon Full of Sugar #56

Here is my entry of A Spoon Full of Sugar. A fantastic sketch by Michelle. I flipped it around, just because I felt like being different. I've actually been quite productive today making a total of four cards, this one included. I haven't made any cards for so long so this weekend has been really enjoyable, getting back into the swing of it. You'll be seeing the rest over the next few days.

I coloured Miss Anya in using promarkers. I bought a whole bunch more last week and have been practising with them. I actually quite like them now. They still bleed slightly. Practise makes perfect!

Supplies:
Image - Miss Anya by The Greeting Farm
Sentiment - Penny Black
Paper - K&Co - Wild Raspberry
Tools - Nesties and Cuttlebug
Other Stash - Pearls, netting, flowers and brad all from stash

Also something quite exciting, yesterday I booked (well my friend booked) a holiday for us both. So on the 6th September 2010 I'm off to Orlando for two weeks of disney fun. I am so excited and have been wanting to go back since we went last year. We are also stopping at a disney hotel which is even more exciting! I just wish it was closer and not over a year away. At least I have something to look forward to! I just have to save up to pay for it now. I need a little counter somewhere on here to count down those days.

A Spoon Full of Sugar #42 and One for Fun!

Isn't she lovely? I received the Magnolia Spring Stamp Kit last week and this was the first card I made using one of the delightful stmps. I think this is one of my faves. Card made using the very lovely sketch from a Spoon Full of Sugar. I didn't using stitching but I did distress the edge of the papers using scissors. I got covered in paper fluff in the process! I also using my very lovely new papers from MME.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - Papermania (Clare Curd's Signature Range)
Papers - My Minds Eye (Magnolia)
Other - Flowers, brads and pearls from stash
Medium - Watercolours

The second card was made for fun! I love how this turned out. I used black and purple, not a combo that I use often. I ran some core'dination card stock through the cuttlebug and sanded it down to bring out the purple core. I didn't use a single scrap of patterned paper! I also used another gorjuss girl. Love them!

Colour Create #3 and A Spoon Full of Sugar #39

2 more cards for 2 more challenges. I've been really busy making cards for the last couple of days. I still have 3 more to show!

The first card is using a fab sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar. I used my very new and very fab Whiff of Joy stamps from the spring kit. This is the first lot of stamps I've bought from Whiff of Joy and I'm so pleased with them. They stamp out fabulously and colour like a dream. If you didn't get the kit, I think you can now purchase them separately. I used some old papers and coloured the image in with my prismas.

Supplies:
Image - Whiff of Joy
Sentiment - Hero Arts
Paper - Basic Grey
Other - Flowers, brads and pearls from stash
Coloured using prismas

The second card was made for Colour Create which was to use the colours red, blue and white. I think I managed this one! I do like this colour combo. I dug out some papers that I have had for a while which were perfect. Little Edwin was coloured using my prismas again.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - unknown
Papers - Daisy Bucket
Other - buttons from stash
Coloured using prismas
I'm now off to watch the rest of Ant and Dec. Take That are performing - woohoo!

Friday Sketchers #36 and A Spoon Full of Sugar #36

Here's the card I have done using the sketch from Friday Sketchers. Really nice to do something other than a square card!! Used some old papers but I actually stamped and coloured this one before making it this time. It doesn't have a sentiment on mainly because I don't have any lovey dovey ones. I also thought that I could enter into the challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar which was to make a card for someone special.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Paper - Daisy Bucket
Other - Flowers and brads
