Sketch Saturday #39

I made this card last weekend and forgot about it using the lovely sketch from Sketch Saturday. I used another fab image from Whiff of Joy and those gorgeous Basic grey papers. I reverted back to my ever faithful watercolours! I was missing them!

Supplies:
Image - Whiff of Joy
Sentiment - Stampin Up
Paper - Basic Grey
Other - Flowers, brads, ribbon and punched flowers from stash

I received a GORJUSS delivery yesterday!! I have been playing with them ever since. I made a card earlier tonight and I will show it as soon as I can! I probably won't be around much. I'm off to race night tomorrow with some friends and then at the weekend we are helping a friend move into his new house! I have Monday off next week, we have gone on a four day week for a couple of months so I'm hoping to have a little craft time!

Truly Scrumptious meets Cute Card Thursday

One card, two challenges.

The first a fantastic sketch for the new challenge blog, Truly Scrumptious. I dug out some old never before used Basic Grey papers. Used another of the new stamps from Whiff of Joy. I coloured the image using my ever faithful watercolour pencils.

The second is for Cute Card Thursday which is "signs of spring". I think the papers are lovely fresh spring colours and I think the image matches quite well!

Supplies:

Sentiment - Stampin Up
Papers - Basic Grey
Other - Ribbon, flower and brad from my stash

Whiff of Joy Challenge

I thought as I now had some WoJ stamps, that I would take part in this week's Whiff of Joy Challenge. Not only is this a challenge but also a call for Guest Designer for Whiff of Joy Stamps. Katharina has provided a fantastic sketch. I absolutely loved making this card up. It's one of the best I think I have made for a long while and love it! I had a rumage through my box of Basic Grey papers and found some I've not used before. The image is obviously Whiff of Joy and is one from the spring set. I've used my prismas again.

Supplies:
Image - Whiff of Joy
Sentiment - Stampin Up
Papers - Basic Grey
Other - Charm, flowers, brad and ribbon from my stash

Hope you all have had a lovely weekend. Doesn't it go so quick?!

Colour Create #3 and A Spoon Full of Sugar #39

2 more cards for 2 more challenges. I've been really busy making cards for the last couple of days. I still have 3 more to show!

The first card is using a fab sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar. I used my very new and very fab Whiff of Joy stamps from the spring kit. This is the first lot of stamps I've bought from Whiff of Joy and I'm so pleased with them. They stamp out fabulously and colour like a dream. If you didn't get the kit, I think you can now purchase them separately. I used some old papers and coloured the image in with my prismas.

Supplies:
Image - Whiff of Joy
Sentiment - Hero Arts
Paper - Basic Grey
Other - Flowers, brads and pearls from stash
Coloured using prismas

The second card was made for Colour Create which was to use the colours red, blue and white. I think I managed this one! I do like this colour combo. I dug out some papers that I have had for a while which were perfect. Little Edwin was coloured using my prismas again.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - unknown
Papers - Daisy Bucket
Other - buttons from stash
Coloured using prismas
I'm now off to watch the rest of Ant and Dec. Take That are performing - woohoo!

Cute Card Thursday #47, Sketch Saturday #38 and Friday Sketchers #39

So you've waited a week for a card and three come along at once! I've been storing them up!

The first is for Cute Card Thursday which was 'music and dance'. This little image of Edwin strumming on his guitar was perfect. Dug out some old papers and used those prismas again!

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Papers - Basic Grey
Sentiment - stamp unknown
Other - buttons from stash

The second card is made for Sketch Saturday. It was such a nice sketch to work with and I am sure if I am stuck, this will get used again. Don't you just love Tilda and Edwin in this?? It's so cute. Again dug out some old papers and used my prismas again.

Supplies:
Images - Magnolia
Papers - K & Co
Sentiment - Stampin Up!
Other - punched flowers and brads from stash
The third and final card for today was made for the Friday Sketchers. I love the colours I've used - bright and cheery. This has to be one of my fave Tilda stamps. Again I've dug out some papers and coloured with my prismas. They are certainly getting a work out and I'm about now getting used to them! I do miss my watercolours though.
Supplies:

Papers - Daisy Bucket
Sentiment - Stampin Up!
Other - punched flowers and brads from stash
Ok I'm now off to watch the rest of the Brits. Coldplay are on at the moment and I have to say they sound great (I love that song!) but personally I can't wait to see Take That as I have loved those boys (sorry men!) since I was 12 years old! But how fantastic does Kylie look at 40?? Wow! What an amazing woman. And James Cordon and Mat Horne?? They are hilarious!

Grrrr

I have been sat here for ages trying to get my images to load. I'm not having much luck. Hopefully I will be back later tonight with a couple of cards to show off!

Papertake Weekly Sketch 8 and Ismaki 09/006

Before I start, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who commented on my previous card. I was overwhelmed to say the least to see that I had 20 comments! It was a real lift and a joy to read them.

I have to say that I'm not really liking both cards I have made tonight. I don't know why. I think its because I'm starting to go off all the papers used!

This card was made for the Ismaki sketch. This was a fab sketch by Kiki. Again used some old papers and a previously coloured image using watercolour pencils.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Papers - Papermania
Sentiment - Hero Arts
Other - Flowers, brads and gems from own stash

This card was made using the Papertake Weekly Challenge sketch by Dawny. Was a very nice sketch to work with I have to say. Used a previously coloured image (using watercolour pencils) and some old stash. I'm in real need of some nice new papers as I am now well and truly bored using some of my old papers up! I need something new to kick start some creativity!

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Papers - Basic Grey
Sentiment - Stamp is unknown
Other - Flowers and brad from own stash

Cute Card Thursday #46, Stamp Something and Friday Sketchers #38

A 3 in 1 card today. I made this Friday afternoon as we were sent home from work early because of the snow! Very unusual for them to shut the whole office however it didn't seem very fair that those that live out of town could go and us that live in town had to work so they had no choice! What was funny is that by the time we left it had stopped snowing, we all made a quick dash before they changed their minds! At least I had time to do something useful!

So, this card is for Cute Card Thursday which was "metallica". I have used metal heart brads. Stamp Something which was something for valentines and Friday Sketchers which was a fab sketch. I enjoyed making this card mainly because I should have been at work! I used my new Tilda and coloured her with prismas. I'm starting to get a little better with them! Dug out my fave papers again.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Papers - Daisy Bucket
Others - Flowers and brads from my own stash

Double Dutch #10

This card is using a fab card on the Double Dutch blog. Really simple and could be used many times over. Used more old papers from my stash and a previously coloured image using watercolours. Still getting to grips with my prismas but the more I use them the more I love them!

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - Hero Arts
Paper - My Minds Eye
Other - Flowers and Brads

Another 2 in 1! This card is for Sketch Saturday using a very nice sketch and One Stop Craft Challenge was buttons and bows. Another different card for me, monochromatic! Also this is the first card I have made using a stamped image coloured using Prismacolors - note this isn't the first image I coloured using them, just the first card made with it if you know what I mean! once again I dug out some old papers!

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - Hero Arts
Papers - Papermania
Other - Flowers, Buttons and Ribbons from stash
