I know, I know, there are no excuses! To be honest over the past few weeks I've been using some of my stampin up stash. It was great to get back to it. It was what I needed, a break from Magnolias, Gorjuss girls and all the other stamps. I got to the point where I just sat and stared at an image and didn't know what to do anymore! Plus there are more and more challenge blogs and I felt I needed to make more and more cards to enter them all. Also I seem to spend more and more £'s as I want every stamp, bit of paper and embellishment that I see and I don't when using SU! I need to start buying things I really really need rather than wanting everything I see.
Anyway on Friday the new Magnolia fall kit popped through the letterbox. I was surprised as I had forgotten all about it. It got me excited about inking up again. I couldn't wait to get them mounted and inked. I love the chef Tilda and Edwins, perfect for when my cousin's son (and his girlfriend) finishes his chef's course at college or his birthday next year. I had a look at the challenges and settled up for the sketch on
Papertake Weekly. Perfect, just some simple layers and a few embellishments.
