For fun

I mentioned that a couple of weekends ago my crafting buddy Lyndsey came to play. I'm finally getting round to show off the four cards I made. Please visit Lyndsey's blog and show her some crafting love. I stamped out the same four images for us both to use to see what we would come up with and we both used the same papers.

Friday Sketchers and Papertake Weekly

Hope everyone is okay. I've not had chance to visit many blogs and leave some comments recently, I'll try my best over the next few days.

Today was my day off and I was really happy when my Miss Anya stamps dropped through the letterbox as it meant I had some time to play!

The first card is for Friday Sketchers. A fab sketch which I will probably use again in the future. I used my watercolours to colour her in.

Supplies:

Paper - MME - Magnolia
Ribbon - SU! Choc Chip
Other - Flowers and brad from stash

The second card is for Papertake Weekly which is another one of Dawny's fab sketches. Love the vibrant colours on this one. Again I watercoloured her.

Cute Card Thursday #51

Here is a card I made using the sketch from Cute Card Thursday. I enjoyed working with this sketch. I used a lovely Tilda stamp which my mum bought for our friend Lyndsey. She came over a couple of weeks ago and spent the day with us. I will at some point show off the cards I made! Anyway whilst here she let me stamp this cute little Tilda. Here she is! I used my prismas to colour her in.

Look! I've even decorated the inside!! I won't be doing this all the time!

Sentiment - Stampin Up
Papers - My Mind's Eye

A Spoon Full of Sugar #42 and One for Fun!

Isn't she lovely? I received the Magnolia Spring Stamp Kit last week and this was the first card I made using one of the delightful stmps. I think this is one of my faves. Card made using the very lovely sketch from a Spoon Full of Sugar. I didn't using stitching but I did distress the edge of the papers using scissors. I got covered in paper fluff in the process! I also using my very lovely new papers from MME.

Supplies:
Image - Magnolia
Sentiment - Papermania (Clare Curd's Signature Range)
Papers - My Minds Eye (Magnolia)
Other - Flowers, brads and pearls from stash
Medium - Watercolours

The second card was made for fun! I love how this turned out. I used black and purple, not a combo that I use often. I ran some core'dination card stock through the cuttlebug and sanded it down to bring out the purple core. I didn't use a single scrap of patterned paper! I also used another gorjuss girl. Love them!

How Gorjuss!

My blog has had a 'gorjuss' makeover. I have fell well and truly in love with these little darlings!

Here are a couple of 'gorjuss' creations. I've spent ages colouring these little girls in so I thought it would be best to make a couple of cards with them!

Both cards are non challenge cards for a change! The first I have used some lovely MME papers I picked up from Sir Stampalot on Saturday. They had a whole bunch of new papers in. I have gone back to using my watercolours again.

Supplies:
Image - Gorguss Girls by Sugar Nellie
Sentiment - Stampin Up
Papers - My Minds Eye
Other - Flowers, brads and pearls from my stash

The second card is using no patterned paper whatsoever. A bit of a first for me but I love it! Used lots of ink and distressing and my fave colour combo - black and pink. Again coloured the image with watercolours.

Sentiment - Debbie Moore
Other - Flowers, pearls and brad from my stash
